Ms. Pearl Dykstra is professor of Empirical Sociology at Erasmus University Rotterdam. She serves as the Deputy Chair of the European Commission’s group of Chief Scientific Advisors. She is the Scientific Director of ODISSEI, Open Data Infrastructure for Social Science and Economic Innovations. She is also an elected member of the Netherlands Royal Academy of Arts and Sciences, and Academia Europaea.

Ms. Christiane Egger is Deputy Manager of OÖ Energiesparverband, the energy agency of Upper Austria, and Manager of Cleantech-Cluster Energy, a network of 250 companies. She is the director of the World Sustainable Energy Days conference and on the management board of the Austrian R&D platform for the decarbonisation of industry (NEFI). She holds a law degree and a post-graduate degree in environment.
Belgian Biodiversity Platform
Ms. Hilde Eggermont is coordinator of the Belgian Biodiversity Platform, and Vice-Chair of BiodivERsA (the network of national and regional organisations promoting pan-european research on biodiversity). She also acts as alternate Bureau member and National Focal Point for IPBES; and as National Focal Point and Council Member of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

Ms. Amanda Eichel is the Executive Director of the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy. Previously, she led the regional and programmatic teams and directed research and knowledge management efforts at C40 Cities. Ms. Eichel also worked for New York City Mayor Bloomberg’s Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability and as a Climate Protection Advisor to the Mayor of Seattle, Washington.

Mr. Paul Ekins has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of London, and is Professor of Resources and Environmental Policy, and Director of the UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources, at University College London. His academic work focuses on the conditions and policies for achieving an environmentally sustainable economy.
Senior Expert on biodiversity at DG R&I
Ms. Josefina Enfedaque is a Senior Expert on biodiversity at the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. Managing EU programmes and policies since 2002, she currently oversees the development of the European Partnership on Biodiversity and helps drafting Horizon Europe. Molecular microbiologist, naturalist, researcher, teacher and communicator, Ms. Enfedaque has also worked in academia, media and industry.

Ms. Anne K. Fahlvik is the Executive Director at The Research Council of Norway (RCN) responsible for the business sector, innovation, life science and health. She is the Former CEO for a med-tech start-up and an experienced scientist and manager from big-pharma in Norway and the US. Ms. Fahlvik Ph.D. in pharmacology.

Mr. Fabio Fava is Professor at the University of Bologna, Italy . He is the Italian Representative in the: i) Horizon2020 “Bioeconomy” (SC2) PC, ii) “States Representatives Group” of the PPP “BioBased Industry” and iii) EuroMed GSOs BLUEMED initiative WG. Mr. Fava is also chairing the National Bioeconomy Coordination Body at the IT Presidency of Council of Ministers who prepared the IT Bioeconomy Strategy and related IAP.

Mr. Giovanni Felici is a Senior Scientist at the Italian National Research Council. He published more than 70 papers in the field of Applied Mathematics and Bioinformatics. Since 2016 he is a Seconded National Expert at the Executive Agency of the European Research Council, where he supports the selection and the monitoring of projects for the panels of Computer Science and Mathematics.

Mr. Paulo Ferrão is a Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. He is the the President of the COST Association. He is also a member of the Mission Board on “Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities” and has been the President of the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation (FCT) from 2016 to 2019. He is author of nine books and more than hundred papers published in scientific journals

Ms. Cristina Fonseca is Chief Executive Officer at Cleverly.ai, and Venture Partner at Indico Capital Partners. Formerly she co-founded Talkdesk, which provides cloud call centre infrastructure as a service. She mentors and invests in numerous tech companies and drives efforts in improving inclusion and diversity, which has granted her several honours and awards. She is also a board member of Galp.

He is also President of the European Construction, built environment and energy efficient building Technology Platform (ECTP) and Chairman of the Board of the European Competitive Telecommunications Association (ECTA). He is member of the Mission Board for climate-neutral and smart cities.
