Ms. Nicoline Breed is advisor for Green Deals at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. The Green Deal approach is an accessible way for companies, other stakeholder organizations, to work with Central Government on green growth and social issues. The aim is to remove barriers to help sustainable initiatives get off the ground and to accelerate this process where possible.

Dr. Raimund Bröchler joined INTRASOFT International in 2004 and has more than 19 years of experience in the Innovation, Consultancy, Research and Technology Transfer field. Because of his leadership skills, experience as a coordinator and project manager, he runs strategic projects and is leading two INTRASOFT project labs; Innovation Services Lab and the Smart Manufacturing Lab.

Ms. Simone Brummelhuis is co-founder, partner & fund director of Borski Fund, a 50 million investment fund based in Amsterdam with a focus on technology companies led by diverse teams and female founders. She is actively involved in sourcing, selecting and supporting the portfolio of companies for the fund.
Director-General of the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI)
Mr. Wolfgang Burtscher has been Director-General of DG AGRI since April 2020. From 2009 to 2020, he was Deputy DG of DG Research&Innovation (responsible for agriculture, food and health). From 2000 to 2009, Mr. Burtscher was Director in DG AGRI (responsible for legal issues,quality policy and the control of agricultural expenditure). Before 2000, he was representative of the Länder at the Austrian Permanent Representation to the EU.

Cristian-Silviu BUŞOI, Chair of the Industry, Research and Energy Committee (ITRE) of the European Parliament.
Mr. Buşoi graduated in medicine at the “Carol Davila” University in Bucharest, in law at the “Titu Maiorescu” University in Bucharest, and in diplomacy at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute in Bucharest.
His political career started in 1996 when, as a young student, he became a member of the National Liberal Party. Eight years later, he entered the Romanian Parliament as Member of the Committee for Health and Family and in 2013 became President of the Romanian National Health Insurance House. His dedication in the Romanian Parliament, convinced electors to vote him in 2007 as their representative in the European Parliament. Mr. Busoi is Member of the Delegation for relations with the countries of Southeast Asia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. He is also substitute Member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI), Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) and Delegation for relations with the Arab Peninsula (DARP).
Mr. Buşoi was a Member of the European Parliament from 2007 to 2013, a position he regained in 2014 becoming chair of the Industry, Research and Energy Committee.

Ms. Cecilia Cabello has professional experience in the many areas of S&T policy. She currently is on the Bureau OECD NESTI and Chair of ERAC SWG Human Resources and Mobility.

Mrs. Marta Calderaro is an Horizon 2020 National Contact Point in Information and Communication Technologies and in Future and Emerging Technologies in Italy. She is also coordinator of the FETFX – FET Communication & Outreach project and part of the Access2EIC – EIC NCP Network coordination team at APRE.

Ms. Barbara Caputo is Full Professor at Politecnico of Torino, where she leads the VANDAL Laboratory, and Principal Investigator at the Italian Institute of Technology. In 2014 she was awarded an ERC Starting Grant. Since 2019 she is an ELLIS fellow and she serves on the ELLIS board. Since 2018 she has been regularly advising the Italian government on AI policies and regulations.

Mr. Paul Cartuyvels is a bioengineer who has been working in European Affairs for the last 20 years. As Director of BOUYGUES Europe, his focus is on the the Built Environment activities of the BOUYGUES Group around the world. In Brussels, BOUYGUES leads the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP) and the Action Cluster On Built Environment of the Smart Cities and Communities EIP.

Mr. Duncan Cass-Beggs is the Counsellor for Strategic Foresight at the OECD with a mandate to strengthen strategic foresight across the OECD and bring a stronger future focus to global dialogue on key policy issues. Mr. Vincenzo Cerullo is professor of Biological Drug, Head of Drug Research Program, PI at iCAN flagship, at HiLIFE and at the Translational Immunology Programme in Helsinki. He has received important financial support including the ERC Consolidator Grant and the ERC-PoC, two Business Finland PoCs. His group has produced significant discoveries and co-founded a multi-million spin-off company : VALO therapeutics.
Head of Unit Financing Infrastructure and Climate Change – DG ECFIN
Mr. Giorgio Chiarion Casoni is Head of the Financing Infrastructure and Climate Change Unit in DG ECFIN at the Commission. He is responsible for core parts of the Investment Plan for Europe (European Fund for Strategic Investments, the Advisory Hub and the Investment Portal) and of the design and development of the InvestEU Programme.
Deputy Director General in DG Research and Innovation
Mr. Patrick Child is Deputy Director General in DG Research and Innovation at the EC. He leads the policy for implementation, impact & sustainable investment strategies. He is acting Director for the Clean Planet, follows in particular R&I into climate action, clean energy and mobility technologies. He is the EC representative of Mission Innovation and in the International Group of Earth Observation.

Mr. Mikheil Chkhenkeli graduated from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, with honors and holds PhD in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. He taught in leading US universities for 20 years. During 2016-19, he was Vice-Rector at Tbilisi State University. He served as Minister of Education and Science, then was head Advisor to Prime Minister of Georgia on Education.
