Ms. Rachel Armstrong Professor of Experimental Architecture at the Newcastle University, visiting professor at KUL and KU Leuven, she is a Rising Waters II Fellow with the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation and a 2010 Senior TED Fellow. She is Director of the Experimental Architecture Group (EAG), and coordinator for the ALICE Innovation Fund. She coordinated the FET project LIAR.

Mr. Iordanis Arzimanoglou directed cancer genetic research groups at Cornell University Medical College, NY and Lennox Hill Hospital, NY. He was CEO of the Aarhus biocluster and the Thessaloniki Innovation Zone managing companies and Assistant Professor at Cornell University Medical College, NY and Adjunct Associate Professor at the Aarhus University. He is now appointed as an EIC Programme Manager.
Head of Embedded Systems Laboratory (ESL)
Mr. David Atienza is Professor of ECE, and heads the Embedded Systems Laboratory (ESL) at EPFL, Switzerland. His research focuses on design methodologies for edge AI in the context of Internet of Things (IoT) and thermal - and energy - aware design for server architectures and datacenters. He has published more than 300 publications in these topics, and is an IEEE Fellow and an ACM Distinguished Member.
Ms. Muriel Attané is EARTO Secretary General since 2013. Before joining EARTO, she was Secretary General of EARPA, the European association of automotive R&D organisations for seven years. In parallel, she worked as EU affairs manager for more than 10 years for TNO (Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research), the largest Dutch RTO.
Ms. Alice Bah Kuhnke is a Swedish member of the European Parliament and vice-chair of the Greens/EFA party group. She is a member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and group coordinator in the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality. As a feminist, and former Minister of Democracy, she works for a sustainable society where women have equal opportunities.

Ms. Eugénia Barroca is a marine biologist from the University of Algarve and she presently plays the role of All Atlantic Ocean Youth Ambassador of Portugal, together with more 22 Ambassadors around the Atlantic. Professionally, Ms. Barroca is the Portuguese-Language Representative of Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA). She is also Ambassador of the Blue School Program, an ocean literacy program.

Ms. Meike Bartels is Professor in Genetics and Well-being, VU Amsterdam. She published over 200 papers including the first genomic variants for well-being. She is president of the Behavior Genetics Association and President-Elect of IPPA. Ms. Bartels is Director of the Research Master Genes in Behaviour and Health and was awarded a ERC grant to consolidate her line of research on Genetics and Well-being.

Ms. Isabelle Barthès is Deputy General Secretary of IndustriAll Europe Trade Union, the European Trade Union Federation representing industrial workers in metal, chemicals, textile and energy sectors. She is dealing with Collective Bargaining and Social Policy, digitalisation and youth. She is also in charge of industrial sectors such as aerospace, ICT, mechanical engineering and defense.
Ms. Catia Bastioli is CEO of the Novamont Group, President of the Italian Cluster SPRING and of the Kyoto Club Association. She has been developing and field-studying a model of Bioeconomy as territorial regeneration, with the quality of soil and water at its center. Ms. Bastioli is a member of important working groups on climate change and renewable raw materials, such as the Mission Board on Soil Health and Food of the EC.

Mr. Stefano Battiston is Associate Professor in Sustainable Finance and Networks at the University of Zurich and Associate Professor at Ca' Foscari University. He is a leading scholar in the field of network models of systemic risk and sustainable finance, making advances in the scientific understanding of the relation between financial interconnectedness, complexity and risk. He coordinated the FET project DOLFINS.

Mr. Jan-Philipp Beck is since February 2018 CEO of EIT Health and served as COO before that appointment. Prior to this he worked for EY and previously Deloitte as well as the Schwarzkopf Foundation.

Mr. Dirk Beckers, a Belgian national, has more than 10years of experience as Executive Director of the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency, previously TEN-T EA from 2007 to 2014. As an EC Official since 1988, he has put his extensive experience in the fields of transport, energy and research at the service of the Agency to successfully manage its financial and human resources and funding programs
Mr. Klaus Beetz looks back on more than three decades of industry experience in software and system engineering, including five years of international delegation to Eastern Europe. He joined Siemens in 2002 and was heading the Global Technology Field “Software and System Engineering” and responsible for the worldwide research and technology. Since 1st of January 2020 Mr. Beetz is the CEO of EIT Manufacturing.
