Mr. Edgar Hertwich is International Chair in Industrial Ecology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He coordinates the research area Circular Economy of NTNU Sustainability. He leads the work on resource efficiency and climate change of the International Resource Panel. Hertwich also holds an appointment as Executive Fellow at the Yale School of the Environment.

Head of chair for Medical technological systems
Prof. Christoph Hoeschen is heading the chair for medical technological systems at the Otto-von-Guericke university in Magdeburg, Germany and acting institute head for medical technology. He was the founding president of the EURAMED platform (now head of scientific committee). He is a member of the German radiation protection board. Mr. Hoeschen is involved in various EC projects, partly coordinating them.

Mr. James Honeyborne is a biologist by degree and a storyteller by heart. He has set-up ‘Freeborne Media' to help audiences connect to and care for issues concerning science, nature and the environment. He is also expert on filming aquatic and marine environments, previous credits include the Creator of BBC's 'Blue Planet II.'

Head of Unit Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety in DG Energy
Mr. Michael Hübel is a Political Scientist. He worked for different German youth and social welfare organisations. Between 1989 and 1995 he worked for the German Red Cross Headquarters. Mr. Hübel joined the Commission in 1995, and worked between 2000 to 2016 for the DG Health and Food Safety, Public Health. Since 2017, he is Head of Unit, Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety, in DG Eneregy with responsibility for relevant Euratom legislation, environmental monitoring, and health protection.

Ms. Cécile Huet is Deputy Head of the Unit "Robotics and Artificial Intelligence" at the European Commission. This unit funds and assists beneficial robotics and AI developments within Europe. The unit is in charge of one of the world's largest civilian programme in robotics. In 2015, she has been selected as one of the "25 women in robotics you need to know about". Ms. Huet holds a PhD in signal processing.

Mr. Davide Iannuzzi (PhD, MBA; author of the book “Entrepreneurship for Physicists”) holds a professorship in physics at the VU University Amsterdam, where he serves as Director of Valorization of the Faculty of Science and as Director of the Demonstrator Lab – VU’s academic entrepreneurship space. He is co-founder of Optics11 and has a longstanding experience in coaching teams in the idea-to-market process.

Mr. Yannis Ioannidis is the President and Director of the “Athena” Research and Innovation Center and a Professor at the Dept. of Informatics and Telecom of the Univ. of Athens.
